The new book “Salmonids of the Russian Far East” has been submitted to the printing house. According to the plan, the first batch should be printed in May. The book describes all salmonids, whitefish and grayling of the Northeast Asia, discusses their distribution and biology, as well as fishing on sports tackle. The book tells about the organisation of tours in the Far East, about rafting along rivers of the region, as well as about the most interesting rivers and lakes of Primorye, Khabarovski Krai, Magadanskaya Oblast, Kamchatka and Chukotka. Much attention is paid to issues of nature conservation and preservation of fish populations. The book has 344 pages and many colour illustrations.
