New Book in Russian

The new book “Salmonids of the Russian Far East” has been printed in Khabarovsk in May. The book describes all salmonids, whitefishes and graylings of the Northeast Asia, discusses their distribution and biology, as well as fishing on sports tackle. The book tells about the organisation of tours in the Russian Far East, about rafting our rivers, as well as about the most interesting rivers and lakes of Primorye, Khabarovski Krai, Magadanskaya Oblast, Kamchatka and Chukotka. Much attention is paid to the issues of nature protection and preservation of fish populations. The book has 344 pages and many colour illustrations.
