Bolbinski Cliff
Finally I was able to visit the Amur River near the village of Zimmermanovka. Here is the Bolbinsky cliff - one of the best places on the river for catching a skygazer. The current of the river breaks off the cliff, forming a huge backcurrent with a great depth.
Bolbinski cliff – the Amur is here several tens of meters deep
The first catch was a small catfish – it is often feeding near the bank
Fish in the net
Our tent in the bay
Trophy skygazer is caught from the boat at the depth of 12 meters
Shallow Dali Lake is covered by the flowers of the yellow Floating Snowflake
Below the Bolbinski cliff the water is rotating in huge whirlpools
Good size skygazer
Skygazer is especially tasty on a grill
A very common fish - Amur barbel
These fishermen have traveled to the Amur from China and Malaysia
