Khor River
In the second part of October I was fishing the upper Khor River. One of the goals was testing of the Bratan motor-kayak with 5 hp outboard and propeller guard.
Sunrise at the river: frozen bays, slush-ice floating
Riffles are shallow - too shallow for the regular motorboats. Only the long wooden boats and boats with jet-motors were able to go.
At the river there were lots of shallow places
Slush-ice at the riffles
My boat was easily passing the riffles with 30 cm depth. At 25 cm the prop guard was touching the bottom, but in this case the boat could be easily pulled over the shallow.
