D-Loop Fly Rod

This summer and fall I was lucky to try out an interesting fishing rod. It was produced in Korea by JS Company, which, by the way, makes fishing rods for Loop. For the local market, mainly spinning rods are produced, but also several models of fly fishing rods under the D-Loop brand. These rods are also sold in Russia.

The surprisingly light ten-foot rod doesn't have the excessive flexibility you would expect from such a long blank. It is pleasant to hold in your hands: “dry” and, I repeat, very lightweight. The weight is only 93 grams. A class 3 rod is perfect for both dry fly and nymph fishing. A dry fly can be cast very far, and you won't get tired of fishing for a whole day.

The main task of the new fishing rod is nymphing. This is one of the finest nymphing rods I've ever gotten my hands on. It is very convenient to control the drift of the rig - the solid length helps. Of course, this “stick” is too long for brooks; her element is small and medium-sized rivers and, of course, lakes.

The design of the rod is nice and the execution is very meticulous; I did not see any flaws.
