New flies for the fishing season 2013 – Part 2
Today I was working mostly on different salmon egg imitations. Both people and fish love these tasty orange globes..
Lightweight nymph with no metal except a hook, with a rubber bead in the head. The colors are for spring and fall fishing in the areas with salmon redds
Bright bead in the head is a must for cloudy water, but grayling will like this fly even in some clear rivers
This Scud is weighted with lead wire; at its rear end the rubber bead is fastened in a loop of 0,3 mm mono
Similar Scud of different colors
Yellow dubbing brush wrapped on top of red plastic film, and the head is an orange metal bead
Salmon egg imitation
One more egg imitation
Good combination of colors for lenok and grayling
This fly is made out of unusual material – its body is wrapped by the edge of a nylon band, partly unknitted and furled with copper wire
The second fly out of the same material
To be continued soon…
