Air engine on a kayak

The Kolibri air-engine is of a tiller type; it has 2-cycle, 3 hp trimmer engine and 60-cm propeller. The total weight is 9 kg. Today we have tested it on two different inflatable kayaks.

The first kayak, Timan, was not working great with the engine – the cause is its banana shape

The speed was up to 10 km per hour

The air-kayak will be very handy on shallows – its sinking is several centimeters only

I will use the air-engine for fishing on the shallows of the Amur River where no regular motor boat could go, and also on shallow rivers
